The Mission and Social Justice Committee invites all parishioners to come on down to the parish hall after the 10 AM Mass on February 15th to celebrate the wonderful diversity of our St. Basil's community.
Parishioners, we invite you to participate and help us appreciate the beauty of the country and the culture where you got your start. Expect displays of pictures and artifacts, small food samples, music, and whatever participants feel will help us know them and their culture better.

CLOTHING FOR THOSE RELEASED FROM COURT
Each day people appear at Ottawa Court following a period of detention at one of our provincial jails. Many are released without adequate clothing for the winter season.
In conjunction with the Ottawa Police, the Knights of Columbus are collecting the following items:
1. Large Size Men’s Coats (L or XL)
2. Large Size Men’s toques and gloves.
3. Sweatpants and hoodies.
All items may be left on the coat rack in the Narthex. A member of the Knights will coordinate with the Ottawa Police to arrange for delivery (around mid-January).
This project is to continue over Christmas with delivery set for January 2026.

St. Basil’s Jubilee Council 18772 welcomed parishioners back from the summer holidays at their first parish event since being charted on June 26, 2025. The welcome back brunch was also an opportunity to formally welcome new Pastor and Council Chaplain Fr. Adolphus Chukwuka to his new role. Congratulations to the council on a successful first event!
