In her book titled At a Loss for Words, acclaimed Canadian author and broadcaster Carol Off discusses six key terms in public discourse today: freedom, choice, truth, democracy, woke, and taxes.  She shows how their meanings change over time; and worse, how meanings are being distorted intentionally nowadays – a feature of our current “age of rage”.  Constructive dialogue is increasingly rare because we don't have a common language.  This will definitely be a “conversation for our times”!
