Care for Creation & Reconciliation Sacred Space Proposed Project Voting Results

After attending the parish August 8th or 9th meetings and/or reading the information on the Baptistry renewal proposal as a sacred space for creation and reconciliation, I support the Pastoral Council making a formal request to the archdiocese to approve the proposed project.

Results:

Yes - 87        No – 22

With this result the Pastoral Council will work with Father Adolphus to seek the approval of the archdiocese for an alternative use of a liturgical space.

Should that approval be provided, the work plan within the $ 22,000 budget provided by the Indigenous Reconciliation Fund will be developed and the project management coordinated with the Premises Committee.

After Mass on August 8 and 9 weekend there were meetings held to discuss Care for Creation and Reconciliation Space at St. Basil's.  There are additional documents added here to further explain things, summarize the meeting and share other documentation.
