Howard J. Ross is a lifelong social justice advocate, starting from the civil rights movement in the United States back in the 1960s. He is considered one of the world’s leaders on identifying and addressing unconscious bias. A personable and engaging speaker, he has worked to confront racism and promote diversity with a wide variety of audiences — companies such as Amazon and Google, prestigious universities such as Harvard, Stanford and Johns Hopkins, and currently with the Catholic Church in Baltimore at the invitation of their Archbishop.
St. Basil’s parish was privileged to host a Zoom discussion with Howard Ross on Sunday, January 24, 2021,
“Racism is Real — but what does that have to do with us?” challenged by this world-renowned expert on “everyday bias” and how it influences us all.
