On the 5th anniversary of Pope Francis’s encyclical, Laudato Si’, the Pope has asked all Catholics and people of good will to reflect more deeply on this encyclical on the care of the earth, our common home. This event is a joint effort between St. Basil’s Parish and Canadian Martyr’s Parish.
The first half of our event will be devoted to Pope Francis’ two encyclicals, with Fr. Augusto Zampini Davies -- Adjunct Secretary in the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development -- joining us from Rome as our featured presenter.
In the second part of our discussion, we will move towards forming action groups of interested parishioners who want to work together on projects that fulfil the intentions of Laudato Si'.
We strongly encourage you to prepare with the following materials:

“Laudato Si’ Circles” could provide ideas for how we form action groups and what topics to address. You can learn about them here: https://
Thanks to Robert Czerny (St. Basil’s) and John Dorner (Holy Canadian Martyrs) and the planning team.
