MHI Tulipathon - solo walk for affordable housing

Thank you! Many, many thanks to all who participated in, contributed to and supported the Multifaith Housing Initiative’s Tulipathon walk this past Sunday, May 31. To date, St. Basil’s Team and parish raised  $3,230.  Besides fundraising, the aim is to raise public awareness about the need in Ottawa for affordable and good quality housing for people on low income. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, MHI set a new record for Tulipathon.  Shortly before midnight of the 31st, the Virtual Tulipathon 2020 broke its ambitious goal of $50,000. Not only did MHI sail past the previous 2019 record of $37.5K, they've exceeded their $50,000 stretch goal.  Thanks for your support!

And MHI is not even done fundraising yet. Tulipathon collections will continue until June 30, 2020.
