Are you curious to know what it is like to live as a Christian in the land where Jesus walked?
Over the past decades, while many Christians have migrated from the area, others have chosen to stay, and our speakers will explore the difficulties they face and the reasons for the choices that Christians make where they are now 3% of the population. Two Canadian Catholics will talk with two Palestinian Christians living today in the Holy Land. Michel Award is a Roman Catholic from Beit Sahour, Palestine. He is Executive Director of the Siraj Center for Holy Land Studies, a non profit NGO). Our second guest is Terry Bullata, an Arab Orthodox Christian from East Jerusalem. She is a board member of The Palestinian Youth Association for Leadership and Rights Activation (PYALARA). Paul Bard, a member of the Knights of Columbus from St. Joseph’s Parish, Orleans and Catherine Casserly from St. Basil’s Parish invite you to join in an open discussion with them on what life is like now for them in the West Bank/Palestine.
