At St. Basil's Parish, we take the current crises of the Covid-19 virus and its variants very seriously. Click the title to see a summary of work that was undertaken over this unusual year. In March 2020, St. Basil’s Parish was planning to celebrate its 60th anniversary. Among other events, a gala dinner was planned and a series of lectures with well-known Catholic and other spiritual leaders … and then the pandemic shut everything down. It could have meant that our parish would simply go into a hiatus until this was over. Instead, we can look back on this past year with wonder and pride that we have pulled together, adapted to the new normal and continued to be a vibrant and supportive spiritual community, (not to mention with lots of help from Zoom)!
Our next event will be with Dr. Mary Jo Leddy, one of Canada's foremost and original spiritual explorers and human rights advocates, on Sunday, March 28 at 2:30 on ZOOM. Click the title for more details including Zoom link.

We need to raise $250,000 to complete the Accessibility and Hospitality Campaign. This includes the massive and necessary repair of the rectory roof – estimated at $150,000; nearly $70,000 in archdiocesan taxes (13% tax on all taxable revenue coming into the parish); and other necessary projects which we have been deferring.
